This is the third Essential Wigged out Ello, that now has green eyes, new make-up, applied eyelashes, Essential Too's red wig and is wearing Sweetly Sullen. I love this doll! I have to say I think her factory eyes were a little froggy and unevenly installed. In fact, it seems that after Boo Who all the dolls with inset eyes are cross-eyed. I really think WI should look into the waning quality of the eye installation...

  1. I just love your blog! Such beautiful dolls and pictures and all. Could you please give me a hint how to straighten cross-eyed Ellowyne's inset eyes? I bought the doll mainly because of her lilac eyes - but now I cannot display her at all. I would greatly appreciate help :)

    1. Hi Bronze Rain, I'm afraid my only suggestion on fixing eye orientation issues (I find that there is a significant amount of variation in the quality with which the eyes are factory set...) is quite drastic. Cut out the pate (much easier with a wigged doll but can be done carefully with a rooted hair doll using an Xacto knife) and cut the backs of the plastic pockets which hold the inset eyes, then maneuver them into the desired orientation, fix them with some epoxy putty, then reinforce the putty with some epoxy glue (glue alone tends to run, and the putty does not stick as well to the plastic by itself), and glue the pate back with epoxy glue. Let me know if you need more details.!
